just finished Eagleman 70.3 & next up is Coeur D Alene Ironman
I was a little nervous going into the Eagleman 70.3 in Cambridge, Maryland this last weekend because I had not fully tapered for it. I had only a 2 day taper. My coach, Adam Zucco, and I decided to focus on the Coeur d’ Alene Ironman for my final points for Kona, while looking at Eagleman as a training race.
I was very happy with 4th place. I accumulated higher pro points for Kona. I am looking forward to a good race at Coeur d’ Alene Ironman June 23, so that I hopefully gain enough pro points to qualify for the Ironman World Championship. I am nearing my dream of Kona and that is my focus for the 2013 season. See you all in Idaho.
